Checking In

Overview

While you have an active task in the lone working app you will be required to check in every 3 hours. Checking In ensures that you are safe whilst working alone. Each time you check in it will reset the timer shown on the task screen. This timer displays how long until your next check-in.

You can check in at any time within those 3 hours to reset the timer, giving you more time until you have to check in again.

Missed check-in

If you miss a check-in, the app will initiate an alert. This alert will text and call your line manager to notify them that you have missed your check-in and are possibly in danger. To end an Alert you will have to check in via the app. Once you have the alert will end.

Ending a Task

If you have finished the task that you were doing you can end your current task at any time. To do this Click the blue “End Task” button as seen below. Once pressed you will be prompted to confirm the end of the task. After the task has been ended you can start another task on the main screen.
