OCVS (Original Caller Verification Service) how to

Overview    

When a call comes in from an external source the OCVS will open with the phone number attached. 

OCVS will allow you to create a profile against the incoming number. 

How to create a co for a number

        You need to add the required fields on the left side of the app. 

        Then press the add contact button. 

Shared Notes

• "Add Note" - Allows you to make notes against a phone number.
  • Private Note - Only you can see these notes. 
  • Public Note - Everyone can see these notes.
  • Dropdown - Common notes to add

Quick Actions

Once the profile has been created there will be more options in the quick actions.

• "Add Shared Contact" - This allows you to create multiple contacts against one Phone number. 

• "Report Call" - Allows you to report spam calls 
  • Request Global Phone Block - This puts a request into IT to block the Phone Number.

• "Call Contact" - This will call the contact through teams. 

External Apps

This allow you to create the contact in another system instead of having to manually do it 

Other Options

• "View Call History" - This will show you who last answered a call from this number.
